Your Quick Mental Workout

Each Joggle puzzle presents you with a six-letter word and a clue. Your goal is to unravel the answer by changing just two letters in the given word. With only 60 seconds on the clock, it’s a thrilling sprint to mental agility. Here’s how to go about it:

Solve the clue by changing two letters in CREATE to make a word that means ‘Elaborately Embellished’. You have 60 seconds.

Tap the first letter you’d like to change (Say C). Six options appear. Tap the one you want, it replaces C. Then change the second letter in the same way to log your answer.

You win coins for every puzzle that you solve – and lose coins if you fail to find the correct answer in 60 seconds . The faster you solve, the more coins you earn.

There are more ways to earn free coins, explained below. You can also buy coins, but usually that shouldn’t be necessary.

Tailor Your Challenge

Are the clues too easy for you? Or too hard? Joggle offers three levels of difficulty. The default is WIZ, medium difficulty. You can switch to PRO (Cryptic) or FUN (Easy) modes via Settings.

In FUN (Easy) mode, the clues are easier and the two letters you need to change are underlined:

WIZ (Medium difficulty) mode has the same clues as FUN mode, but the letters that need changing aren’t highlighted. This makes it a little harder.

PRO mode has cryptic clues. Select this mode if you are a seasoned crossword solver and want to seriously jog your brains! Here’s an example of a cryptic clue:

In WIZ and PRO mode if you’re stuck and need help, tap the Hint button for a… hint. This reveals which two letters you have to change. Use hints sparingly, because coins are deducted for this!

For top solvers, there’s also a fourth level called ZEN. It is hidden by default, but you can unlock it by solving a certain number of PRO level puzzles in faster than a certain time. At this level, you only get a clue and no “helper word”. It looks like this:

Earning and Spending Coins

Solving a clue quickly earns you more coins. Also – the harder the level, the more coins you earn. Details of how many coins for how much time at each level are tabulated in the game rules in Joggle’s Help menu. You can also get free coins every day by simply launching Joggle and tapping the bonus coin button. Another way to earn a coin is to go to your Profile/Wallet and watch a video ad until the end. If you’ve solved a clue fast, you can challenge your friends by sharing the game report on Facebook or Twitter (and earning a coin in the bargain!)

If you can’t solve a clue in 60 seconds, you lose coins. You also spend coins when you ask for a hint.

Joggle is very generous with coins, so normally you won’t run out of coins. However, if you’re a newbie practicing, or you binge-play and spend all your coins, don’t worry. You can top-up your wallet by buying coins via the Profile/Wallet screen.
